Raw food diets for dogs

After cutting up three semi-frozen pounds of steak, I decided to post something about raw feeding.

Both of my dog were fed store-bought kibble for 6 to 8 years (before I adopted them) and have been on a raw diet for about six months. No vegetables, fruit, grains, or other omnivore food. They get a variety of meats–raw chicken, beef, fish, and lamb–bone, blood, skin, guts and all. Their teeth are much cleaner and whiter, they have more energy, and not a single trip to the vet!

The Many Myths of Raw Feeding has a ton of information on the ins and outs of feeding your dog a raw diet.
