When the dogs and I walk through my neighborhood, we always
pass a wide tree that I have dubbed my “Bodhi tree.” I stop to
admire its leaves, its crevices, its shadow against the sky–
and I make a wish for the day. Sometimes it’s simply a positive thought such as “This will be a wonderful day” or “Good things are all around.”
When you walk your own neighborhood, try finding your own Bodhi tree.
